Winter Walk: Sat 24 & Sun 25 January 2026
Get those walking boots out, wrap up, stretch the legs and get active in the New Year with a couple of thousand like-minded adventurers.
This event has plenty of outdoors space and has staggered timings over one day, to ensure social distancing measures can be implemented. On Saturday & Sunday there are 2 distance options–Full Marathon & Half Marathon–with both starting & finishing at The Oval Cricket Ground near Vauxhall. The routes take in highlights of the Thames and its historic bridges, and many of the Capital’s major landmarks. This is a Winter Walk for everyone – and it will be one to remember.
Sponsorship: Different options available, please see below:
1. FULL SPONSORSHIP
Pay a small Reg Fee & fundraise to a minimum target, with at least 50% due 3 weeks prior to the event (Charity pays for your Challenge place).
EG – Marathon £30 Reg Fee & £300 Fundraising
2. MIXED FUNDING
Pay half the event place & also fundraise with a lower target – 50% due 3 weeks prior (Charity covers the balance of your place cost).
EG – Marathon £50 Reg Fee & £150 fundraising
3. OWN PLACE FUNDRAISING
Pay full cost of your event place & also fundraise whatever you can for your Charity. NO targets or deadlines & NO event cost for your Charity!
EG – Marathon £99 Fee & raise what you can!
